  ICAR-NRC on Mithun celebrated World Water Day on the 22nd March 2021.         On 19th March 2021, a team of experts from NABARD, Dimapur led by Smt L. Leivang, GM/OIC and the Scientists of ICAR-NRC on Mithun participated in Interface Meeting and deliberated on measures needed for improved mithun husbandry in Nagaland.     As a part of the Institute initiative towards upliftment of the tribal community and doubling of farmer’s income, 30 piglets were distributed to 28 beneficiaries from two districts of Nagaland on the 16th March, 2021 under the Tribal Sub Plan Scheme. Piglets were distributed to Kupuhe Village Council and Kikheyi Village Council from Dimapur district and to With You Self Help Group of Ketsapo village from Phek District.
