Certificate Distribution Program at ICAR-NRC on Mithun for VFA Students of VFATI, Medziphema
A certificate distribution program was conducted by the ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun (NRC on Mithun) in Medziphema for Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) students from the Veterinary Field Assistant Training Institute (VFATI), Medziphema. The program celebrated the successful completion of a comprehensive training course conducted over six batches, with each batch undergoing 15 days of intensive training that included both theoretical and practical sessions.
Dr. Girish Patil S. chaired the event, emphasizing the critical role of such training programs in equipping future veterinary professionals with essential skills and knowledge. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Inato, Principal of VFATI, Medziphema, and Dr. Phool Kumari, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Dimapur. Also in attendance were scientists from NRC on Mithun and the teaching faculty of VFATI, Medziphema.
The training program, conducted for 68 students, was meticulously designed to provide a balanced mix of theoretical instruction and hands-on practical experience, ensuring the students are well-prepared to meet the challenges in their field.
