Dr Girish Patil, S., Director, ICAR – NRC on Mithun Chaired the Inaugural and technical sessions of “Point-of-care testing for tackling AMR with one health perspective”

Joint International Workshop on, “Point-of-care testing for tackling AMR with one health perspective” was organized on 25th and 26th March 2024 at ICAR – Central Institute for Fisheries Technology (CIFT), Cochin. The event was organized by ICAR – CIFT in collaboration with ICAR – NIVEDI, Bangalore, ICAR – NRC on Mithun, Nagaland and Veterinary College, KVAFSU, Hassan, Karnataka. The event was funded by Optoelectronics Research Centre for the University of Southampton through the International Science Partnership Fund (ISPF) Institutional Support Grant (ODA). Dr Collin Sones, Professor, University of Southampton and Dr Sivaraman, Principal Scientist, ICAR – CIFT, Organizing Secretaries, Coordinated the whole event. Dr Nagappa, K., Associate Professor, KVAFSU and Dr Shivarsharanappa, Senior Scientist, ICAR – NIVEDI were the Co-Organizing Secretaries. Dr George Ninan, Director, ICAR – CIFT, Dr Baldev Gulati, Director, ICAR – NIVEDI and Dr Girish Patil, S., Director, ICAR – NRC on Mithun Chaired the Inaugural and technical sessions. Experts from across India participated in the workshop.
