Industry meet cum Technology Conclave on “Ideation to commercialization: Nurturing to Entrepreneurship in NE”

On August 29th, 2024 ICAR - National Research Centre on Mithun, Nagaland, organized Industry meet cum Technology Conclave on “Ideation to commercialization: Nurturing to Entrepreneurship in NE” and Industry Meet in collaboration with ICAR Research Complex for NEH region, Nagaland centre. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Dr. S. K. Chaudhari, Deputy Director General (NRM), ICAR, and Dr. V. K. Mishra, Director of ICAR – Research Complex for NEH Region, Barapani. The Guest of Honor included Dr. S.B. Barbuddhe, Director, National Meat Research Institute, Hyderabad, and Dr. Praveen Malik, CEO, Agri Innovate, New Delhi. Dr. Girish Patil S., the Director of ICAR - NRC on Mithun, and Dr. Homeshwar Kalita, Head, ICAR-Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland, presided over the event. Success stories were shared by entrepreneurs of the region, including famous Shitake Mushroom start-up owner of Nagaland Dr. Sosang. Other entrepreneurs also participated in the event along with students from St. Joseph University and Patkai Christian College of Dimapur.
