A BRIEF REPORT OF MITHUN MELA AT DAMRO VILLAGE, ARUNACHAL PRADESH - 07 April 2022
Mithun Mela, Technology awareness, Animal health camp and TSP inputs distribution programme was conducted at Damro village in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh state on 7th April 2022. Shri Kanggong Taku, Hon’ble MLA for Mariyan/Geku A/C, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh graced the event as Chief Guest. Altogether, 312 farmers attended the day-long programme while 156 mithun were brought for exhibition in the Mela. TSP inputs were distributed to the farming community for establishing semi-intensive mithun farming as the model developed by the institute including the programme for medication and farmers-scientist interaction.
